Changing Your Brake Pads and Rotors

Two main parts of the braking system are the brake pads and the rotors. Every time you press your foot on the brake pedal the pads are being pushed against the rotors to create friction that will slow your wheels down and eventually bring you to a stop.

With that amount of friction, both the pads and rotors become worn out. It is key to have these parts replaced before they become too worn out and don't work as quickly and efficiently as they are designed to.

How to Tell My Brakes Need to Be Repaired

You can check with your owner's manual for when it is recommended for you to have the brakes inspected and repaired. Having your brakes regularly checked will help you stay proactive and aware of your brake's condition.

You will also want to have your car serviced if you hear any unusual noises when you are pressing on the brake. Also have your car serviced if there is any shaking while applying the brake or if they seem harder to push down than normally.

You should bring your vehicle in if the Anti-Lock Braking System warning light comes on your dashboard to figure out what your car is trying to inform you of.

Benefits of Having Your Brakes Serviced with Us

When parts of the braking system do need to be replaced on your car, we will use only OEM parts to make sure your car is getting the highest quality components that are built to last.

You will also have various conveniences you can take advantage of while we work on your vehicle. You can get work done while waiting with the free Wi-Fi we provide or get a shuttle to take you back home and have it pick you up once your car is ready.
